Alyssa Milano is an American actor and activist, associated with the extremely popular TV show Charmed in the late 1990s and early 2000s, where she played one of the witchy sisters, Phoebe Halliwell. Another of Milano’s starring roles was Jennifer Mancini in Melrose Place.
In the spring of 2022, when russia began the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Alyssa made several posts on her social media in support of Ukrainians, shared photos of herself in yellow and blue clothes, and encouraged her followers to also support Ukraine.
In May 2024, Milano took on a new role as a UNITED24 ambassador. Together with Nobel laureates Paul Nurse and Edvard and May-Britt Moser, actors Ivanna Sakhno and Mark Strong, she will support the Education and Science program.
